Terms of service

Clear terms help Hester Software keep quote-first engagements predictable.

These terms describe how the public site, quote process, portal access, and project delivery work once a customer chooses to move forward.

Quotes and scope

Quotes describe the requested work, not a guarantee of every future change.

  • Quote requests are reviewed before any account is created
  • Statements of work and proposal details may refine the final scope
  • Additional work is handled through a new quote or change request
Customer responsibilities

Customers are expected to provide accurate information and timely feedback.

  • Send correct contact information for quote and portal access
  • Review proposals, invoices, and support responses in a timely manner
  • Provide content, approvals, and access needed to complete the work
Fees and changes

Payment terms and change handling are agreed with each engagement.

  • Invoice timing and due dates are set per project or service agreement
  • Scope changes can affect pricing, schedule, or delivery order
  • Late or missing payment may pause delivery or portal access
Third-party services

AWS and other vendors may be used to provide the service.

  • Hosting, auth, storage, and notifications may rely on third-party services
  • Those services are used to support the engagement, not to transfer ownership
  • Customer data still follows the access controls defined by Hester Software
Intellectual property

Ownership is determined by the specific project agreement.

Custom code, design files, and deliverables may transfer to the customer after payment or under the terms of a separate statement of work. Pre-existing tools and reusable components remain with Hester Software unless stated otherwise.

No warranty

The service is provided on a best-effort professional basis.

Hester Software works to deliver reliable results, but the site, portal, and services are provided without a guarantee that everything will be error free or uninterrupted.

Termination

Either side can end the engagement when the work is complete or if terms are broken.

If a project ends early, access, deliverables, outstanding invoices, and data handling will be managed according to the active agreement and applicable law.

Need a custom agreement

Use the quote flow so the terms can match the actual work.

That keeps the legal and delivery details aligned before any portal account exists.
